Coach Jekielek is returning for her fourth year of coaching volleyball at Tucker High School and her eigth year of coaching high school volleyball overall. Her first year of coaching volleyball at Tucker her team made it all the way to the sweet 16 in the state championship playoffs.
Coach Jekielek was born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. She moved to Roanoke, VA in 1992 where she attended high school. She graduated from East Tennessee State University (ETSU) with a Bachelor’s degree in Health & Physical Education in 1999. There at ETSU she competed for their track & field team for two years. She is currently completing he graduate degree at Valdosta State University in Health & Physical Education. At this moment she is the department chair for the Health & Physical Education program and teaches Personal Fitness. She loves coaching because she gets to see children grow into the best version of themselves.
